Thanks for playing!! Sorry the pen doesn't allow you to write, haha!

(+1)

I can't not read this in a goofy caveman accent. :L

(+1)

Really clever and different from what's usually seen, really enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing it!

I had so much fun playing this game! It's hilarious because this happened to me a lot but in school haha.

Really was humourous though, couldn't stop laughing haha.

CRUNCH

Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, I’ve been hearing from a lot of people that the same thing has happened to them at some point. Food is just too loud!!

(+1)

I had lunch. It was noisy. Fun simple little game. Good job!

(+1)

Thanks for playing!! Loved the parts of the video when it cut to a dramatic close-up!

JACK PLAYED IT
(+4)

oh shit, I guess a literal million people have now seen this game. Thanks for letting me know about the video!

help ;-;

ITS NOT RUNNING!!!

(1 edit)

Sorry, not sure what the problem would be... have you tried deleting the file and downloading it again? Sometimes that works. Or it might be your computer’s security settings: sometimes you can get around that by right-clicking and choosing Open. Hope this helps!

ok ill try that

i extracted it and clicked the CrunchyLunch game file and it said could not execute

Sorry, wish I could help, but if what I mentioned in the previous post doesn't work, I'm not sure what else to try... I've had the same issue with other games when I'm trying to download them on spotty internet. Usually deleting the file and re-downloading will fix it.

This game can make anyone have a smile :D I cut the mudslide part out so people will be suprised xD

Thanks for playing!! Yeah, anyone who plays after watching this video is definitely in for a surprise!

(+1)

This game cheered my day right up. I think I broke at the mention of mudslides.

Thanks for playing!! I always enjoy seeing how people react to the mudslide part!

As far as text based games go, this one was definitely the best I've ever played! And as far as all games go, this is pretty great still.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed playing it!!

how do you open it!?!?

Are you on Mac or PC?

Sometimes if it doesn't open, you can download a new copy and it will.

Or depending on your computer's security settings, you might have to right-click and choose open.

This game is hilarious! Pretty much just had me smiling the whole time! Thanks for making a game that makes people happy! :)

Thanks!! That was definitely the goal! Glad to see people are enjoying it!

(+1)

I love the uniqueness of the game! It is games like this that draw me to Indie games!

(+1)

Dude! This game was amazing! Thank you so much for the good belly laughs! I thoroughly enjoyed the humor of it. I lost it at Mudslide XD here's my video on it!

(+1)

Thanks for playing!! Loved the Godzilla graphic!

(+1)

one of the funnier game i played recently, actually made me lol :D

it was great how the way the text was written was enough to convey the tone that made it funny, good game!

(+1)

Thanks for sharing! It's always fun to see the choices people make. TJ's Peruvian corn seems to be a rare pick!

I am sort of hoping that the captured image is arranged or angled more orderly (blame my eyes :'( ). However, this short novel perfectly describes the anxiety of having lunch in our daily work environment xD

Another thought regarding the same theme of the story :

*CRUNCH*

*everybody in every parts of world turns to stare hungrily at your lunch and you like some kind of zombies herd in an apocalypse scenario*

Thanks for playing! Yes, I think a lot of people know that same anxiety!

Sorry about the weird image angle--I had to tilt the paper kind of strange so the shadow of my smartphone wouldn't block the text.

This was so cute! I loved the sound effects and the way you made the game! It was hilarious! Great job!

Thanks for playing!! The sound effects were fun to do!

(+1)

LOVED THE STORY IT TOLD!

Awesome! Thanks for playing!!

(+1)

I made a lil video about it! It was pretty funny, I had a good laugh.

Hey, thanks for playing! Seems like the pretzels are a popular choice!!

(+1)

My Let's Play :D had a lot of fun with it

Thanks for playing!! Really enjoyed the part where you kept scrolling back and forth over the "Marianne" pronunciations until it made a whole symphony of pitch-shifted voices!

(+2)

This game was so funny and amazing!

Thanks for playing! I agree, pretzels are a cool snack!!

(+1)(-1)

The game was really funny, made me smile, I needed that :)

thank you for making this game OwO

(+1)

I laughed a lot! And pretzels are the best snack. Thanks Mari-mumbles the ending of her name.

(+2)

Thanks!! Pretzels are a great snack--if they were just a little quieter, they'd be perfect!!!

Great game! This is really funny! You should make a sequel so we can see the second day! ^U^

PS: Thanks for making this, made my day!

Thanks for playing!! I actually do have a few ideas for if I ever do a sequel... but I also have a million other game projects I want to finish up. So we'll see!! I'll definitely be working on something.

That's really cool!! Thank you for considering!

This is such a cute idea, and the writing suited it very well. I love the use of shorthand and short sentences, which really brought out the 'burst of thoughts' in the game. Good job!

Thanks so much!! Yes, I've always loved concise writing and thought I'd try taking it to the extreme for this game.

This is funny and an interesting way to make a Visual Novel :D I enjoyed the whole experience so I want to thank you for making it :D

Thanks!! I've always loved stop-motion animation and thought it'd be cool to try using that style for a visual novel.

You're welcome :D Yes, it's really cool as a style~

This was so funny!  Great job.  ^^

Thanks for playing!!

You're welcome!  ^^  And thank you for making it!  :D

Haha. A visual novel but done on sticky notes. Not seen that before. Great job... :)

Thanks!! I was trying to think of something interesting that'd still be simple enough to complete within a month!
